#Drawtober the 30th! I can't believe how cute Plague Knight is in his own campaign. I'm so impressed with how Yacht Club Games infused so much sweetness and emotion into both Shovel Knight campaigns! 

I love those Castlevania skeleton sprites and I love green skeletons! What are they covered in algae or sumthing?

In this #Drawtober we have a Night Warrior... a real Darkstalker... LORD RAPTOR. A punk zombie with crazy mystical powers!

Bub & Bob from Bubble Bobble. Dinosaur brothers who blow spit bubbles that entrap their foes. 

Super Macho Man from Punch Out and yes, he is trying to intimidate you. There's a reason he is the World Circuit Champion! 

UMARO, the Yeti from Final Fantasy 6! An optional character in FF6, but he was my favorite and I would draw comics with him in it as a kid!

To Shovelry! Today's #Drawtober is one of my favorite sprites and characters in recent video games, Shovel Knight from Yacht Club Games. 

Wasn't going to do this one, but my mind kept coming back to those funky colors of the NES Batman movie tie-in video game. 

In honor of the Nintendo Switch being revealed today, I drew everyone's favorite spirit avatar to the digital world... MARIO! 

Earthworm Jim was a very inspirational game to me. It was funny, comic, and epic with a cool art and weird concept... IN SPACE!!!

Someone call Dr. Mario! We got to take care of these viruses. They're so cute, I've always loved these little buggers. Just from looking at them I have the Dr Mario music stuck in my head.

I love Final Fantasy 2 on SNES when it came out, and I'm replaying it right now on PSP as Final Fantasy 4. It's so epic and was a real game changer for RPG's. 

Another day, another mistaken sprite and added facial hair. This is the main character of Adventure Island series, specifically from Adventure Island 2 on top of one of his dinosaurs

Todays Drawtober is a case of mistaking the simplicity of a sprite. I always saw the main character from Crystalis(or God Slayer in Japan) with a beard because of his sprite.

On the thirteenth day of Drawtober, Mayor Mike Haggar from Mighty Final Fight appeared, with a Double Lariat for all! 

Rockin' Kats! Another game I loved from afar in the pages of Nintendo Power. 

And now Link to the Past Ganon! He's way cooler looking than some DOPEY RED HEADED ELF!
